ROOF-TOP gas-fired air heaters from Systema Polska

Systema Polska

EOLO RT EOLO gas-fired ROOF-top air heaters are complete units for heating and ventilating large-scale buildings.

Purpose

Roof-tops are usually installed on the roof or outside of large volume buildings. These types of buildings, which are intended for production lines for example, have special requirements in terms of ensuring the right amount of total air exchange and internal temperature. The usual conventional heating of large-volume areas not only fails to provide adequate working conditions for people, but also costs are extremely high. The roof-top or heating-ventilation unit is the most appropriate solution.

Assembly

The roof-top is a device that is installed outside buildings, usually on the roof. Therefore, their casing is made of powder-coated galvanised steel, additionally insulated with 5 and 10 cm thick mineral wool. Thanks to this casing, the gas-fired Roof-top air heater is prepared for outdoor conditions in countries such as Poland.

Construction Roof-top heater

The company's roof-top Systema Polska are an example not only of the right choice of a number of components, but of components whose quality ensures the reliable operation of a gas-fired air heater. Let's start with the PREMIX type burner. The burner fan, gas solenoid valve, controller and burner head or gas-air mixer are the foundation for the correct operation of the burner and thus for the correct operation of the Roof-top gas air heater.

Another component that influences quality and diversifies the models is the heat exchanger. Depending on the type of exchanger - with or without condensate drainage - the Roof-top gas air heater has modulating capacity: for exchangers with condensate drainage from 30% to 100%, and for units with built-in exchangers without condensate drainage from 60% to 100%.

The choice of fans used in the Roof-top gas air heater is varied to ensure the most optimal operating conditions for the heaters. The basic criterion for selecting a fan is its efficiency. Nowadays, customers very often choose fans with EC motors, which significantly reduces electricity costs and consumption. Units equipped with such fans have the option of variable compression: from 200 Pa to 400 Pa, from 400 Pa to 600 Pa, from 600 Pa to 800 Pa. Other roof-top gas-fired air heaters are equipped with standard radial fans, which have a choice of 3 compression ratios - 200 Pa, 400 Pa and 600 Pa.

Gas-fired air heater Roof-top models

Gas-fired air heaters comprise just under 140 heater models. Roof-top units consist of units with either a heat exchanger with or without condensate drainage. The current models have been extended to include fans with EC motors, giving a choice of solutions with different fan compression ratios as standard. A single model achieves from 16 kW (heater) to 315 kW (Roof-top). The entire Roof-top product range is characterised by high combustion efficiency, with a minimum load > 95%. The wide range of products, allows you to select the precise unit to perfectly meet the thermal requirements of the building and ensure the correct air exchange rate.

Modular construction of the Roof-top gas-fired air heater

The Roof-top is a heater with a modular design that allows the unit to be freely configurable. The Roof-top is based on a heater section to which the customer is free to „design” his own model by adding a mixing chamber section, air intake and exhaust sections. From the components available as standard, the Roof-top can be designed to fit the structural dimensions of the building. In addition, the Roof-top's housing is made of powder-coated galvanised steel. The thickness of the insulation of the panels is 5 cm for the floor by 10 cm for the upper part of the unit. This clearly allows these units to be installed outdoors.

Free configuration of devices

Roof-top gas-fired air heaters have a modular design that facilitates free configuration of the unit, both in terms of the degree of filtration, air output and fan compression. The base of the Roof-top is the heater section, to which the fan section is „matched" with the correct air output and compression, filtration degree. The various mixing chamber sections allow the unit to be perfectly matched to the set operating parameters. Air distribution in the Roof-top gas-fired air heater can take place directly or through ventilation ducts.

Dimensioning of Roof-top gas-fired air heaters

Using the Systema Polska product selection programme, each customer is able to calculate the heat demand for the building in question on their own and, using the data sheets, select the correct model. Also, the ejection and air intake sections can be equipped in the same way.

ROOF-top gas-fired air heaters with certificates from the Oil and Gas Institute in Krakow

Certificates, issued by recognised testing institutes and patents attest to the quality of the portfolio. As a matter of course, for many years Systema Polska has been carrying out tests at the Oil and Gas Institute in Krakow. Also, all performance gas air heaters have been tested by the Oil and Gas Institute in Krakow and have been awarded an EU Type Test Certificate, confirming that Systema Polska's gas heaters meet the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/426 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 March 2016.
